1) How did 19 Muslims (7 of whom are still alive), led by a sick Muslim on dialysis in a cave on the other side of the world, manage to outwit a 500 billion dollar defense system? 2) Why was Osama Bin Laden, on July 4 2001 while undergoing medical treatment at the American Hospital in Dubai, visited buy the CIA? The idea that there are hijackers still alive has been discredited. It's also a fact that the attacks did not require a great deal of technology. It just required that the hijackers know how to fly a large plane once air born. Aside from that all it took was careful planning and patience. There are many, many questions that Popular Mechanics did not answer. It is a lame fall-back excuse for those who refuse to ask even one question about the events of that day. 1. How is hijacking a plane related to military defense? Nothing in common there. Stupid statement. 2. He wasn't. This is a transparent lie. 3. What, he needs to be on a list? Stuck on stupid are you? 4. Just because it is claimed, does not make it true. 5. Most Islamic fundamentalists don't stick to their "morality" when outside of Islamic countries. 6. They didn't. Another transparent lie. 7. Informant, not law-enforcement employee. Probably to protect his identify for safety, and for future use. Nothing nefarious. 8. Boxcutters? Heck, I used to carry 6" hunting knives on the plane with me - show them to the security at the checkpoint and walk on through or just put it in my carryon bag. It wasn't exactly a thorough search then. 9. What investigation was needed? Conspiracy nut! 10. Because it was a crime scene. More because they didn't want all those gawkers. 11. Who knows? It's not as if there could be any blockbuster stuff on it. The same people did testify at other times. 12. Wouldn't make sense to have the people who needed to be working to be stuck doing testimony. I don't see the big deal with the timing. Pray tell, how is it a big deal? 13. Ask Congress. 14. Beats me. I thought the panel was full of the wrong people. 15. So the NORAD officials didn't want to show how ineptly they reacted. We all know they didn't react well and didn't get any jets to where they needed to be when they were needed. 16. Because the info was confidential perhaps? 17. Because their discussion would cover much secret stuff, and as for the oath, Congress hasn't the authority to compel the president to testify under oath to them. No big bad conspiracy, just small insignifcant facts blown out of proportion by fools and idiots. Which ones, the one about the misquoted witness who said "LIKE a cruise missile," not cruise missile, or the one about how hot aluminum burns (enough to melt many other metals)? We've seen it before, including here. I'll tell you what I told the other guy: if, in fact, our government did orchestrate that, then wise would be to play nice with them.
