Why do people complain about Mexicans doing our cheap labor when companys are forced to send jobs to China?

What would you rather have Mexicans doing our cheap labor or our enemy countries poisoning our children?

The only one forcing to send the jobs overseas is the CEO.....He needs his Multi-Million $$$ Golden Parachute to protect.

Honestly, for most jobs, cheap Mexican labor in the USA still isn't cheap enough to compete with China. Average wages in China are a factor of about 50 below those in the USA. For the same reason, even if we put in massive tarriffs on Chinese products, those jobs wouldn't return to America.

Good question. First of all, no one is forced to send jobs to China. They do it voluntarily. Second, most illegals are making the same thing American citizens and legal residents are getting paid for the same work and jobs. Now, if you would buy American made, like I do as much as I can find American made products, then the company's that send jobs over seas would not.

We would rather have American citizens and LEGAL immigrants working in our country.

Illegal aliens need to be deported. They can do "cheap labor" in their own country.

BTW, companies outsource for the same reason they illegally hire illegal aliens. To save money. They do it for their own selfish reasons at the expense of American citizens and not caring the effect it is having on America. If it weren't for employers hiring them, the illegal aliens would have no reason to come here. No jobs, no illegal aliens. The hiring of illegal aliens is not going to stop outsourcing, it only gives corrupt employers another way to make money at the expense of American citizens and LEGAL immigrants.

Thomas M is correct, we can not compete against China even with cheaper Mexican labor. China has indentured servitude and no laws governing workers or the treatment there of.

Companies are not forced to send work to China, they have the same access to information that we do, they know exactly what the Chinese work force faces on a daily basis but bottom line profit is more important. When possible buy American.

Corporations are in no way forced to send jobs overseas.
They CHOOSE to send them to countries that pay their uneducated unqualified workers pennies on the dollar.

If Americans would wake up and realize that "cheap" goods come at a greater cost than what's rung at the register, perhaps we wouldn't be buying flimsy toxic crap from China.


As for the Mexicans,... we've made due without them for years, and we could do it again.

Companies are not forced to send jobs to China - they scour the earth looking for the cheapest labor, easiest govt to deal with, and the least environmental restrictions. All of the price savings from using third world scabs instead of Americans goes right into the pockets of executives.

I prefer having Americans with decent jobs so they don't need free health care from the feds.
