Does any one know why american jobs are gone to china and india? (essay)? The companies are "outsourcing" their production to developing countries such as China and India. People there will do the same job for $1/hour instead of the $10/hour that Americans would earn. It's cheaper for the companies to ship the finished products back to here for sale than to pay American workers. It's outsorcing, it's because they people there will do the work for less money than people here in America. Corporations exist to maximise profit and want cheaper labor - regardless of whether the laborers or supplying companies can do the job right. Just look at all the toys being recalled because the Chinese companies used lead-based paint. |
