Hiring a nanny / au pair from China? |
My wife and I have a friend in China that we are considering offering a job as an au pair or nanny. Can someone direct me to a resource that might provide information about the legal / immigration steps we would have to take? My wife is Russian and her mom is here taking care of her sisters children. But thats a little differant because she got a family visa and petitioned for resident status. I would say check the uscis.gov web, it should tell you everything you need to know. There are Au pair organizations that hire people for working in the US, but I dont think they will help you with the paperwork only.. and they will want to be paid. It would be much cheaper to do it yourself. She will probably have to do most of the work herself at the US embassy in china. (but thats just a guess) |

Chinese isn鈥檛 an easy language to learn due to the word characters, pronunciations and cultural difference. You can鈥檛 really translate English into Chinese and vise versa, they鈥檙e like a total diff... i am looking for some co too!! I am clueless on what i am going to do with the holiday season!! ...I doubt you can find work here on Y Answers. ... |
