Fly to China?

On average, how much does it cost to fly for the US to China? I'm in Texas and I'm considering a job offer there, but I want to know how much my family will be spending on a flight to come visit me if I go. Thanks in advance!

Not as much as you think. Prices over the years have increased because of fuel costs and etc. Last year I traveled from Boise to Shanghai for just $843. This year around the same time was about $950. The website I used was flychina.com. It has great deals and savings as compared to Expedia or Yahoo. When buying tickets, it best if it's purchased during low travel seasons. Tickets purchased before June are relatively cheaper. Good time for travel would be the spring and fall times.

i looked on the Internet. and it says around $1,400 - $1,900.

On average, or the cheapest? You know, some people fly business, and the average is quite hight.

The best deal you can usually get would be a little over 1000 for a round way ticket, booked a couple of months ahead. You can get the best deal by calling some travel agents (usually Chinese) who are specialized on booking tickets to China. If you are in big cities like Houston, Dallas, you should be able to find those people easily. Or you can call one in San Francisco http://www.viewda.com/webpaper/singtaoyp...

If you purchase online, the best deal would be around 1500.

7 years ago, it was just half of this price.

depends on the time of year prices range from

900 - 1600USD
