What are the positives and negatives of the things made in China?

Im doing a report and I already have the saftey issues with chinese products, U.S> job losses, economic issues, problems with the Chinese food, quality issues, and the enviromental impact made by China. Is there anything else I am missing or are there any positives for things made in China?

There are no positives.
If we exported as much to China in return for them dumping all their crap here, it would be a different story - it would be "fair" trade. But there is no fair trade. We export almost nothing to them, and their ships are overflowing with shyt every day coming here.
And their quality sucks. What good does it do for a product to cost half as much if it breaks or wears out twice as fast. The "inflation" data does not take into account how long an item lasts, it only looks at price.
This short-sightedness is going to destroy the united states.

I suppose it comes down to how detailed you want to get but for me as a regular guy on the street, I see breaking down to two thing.

First; would be goods cost American consumers less.

Second; would be every dime of it goes overseas.

It is a very simple way to look at it and you must factor in all the ramifications of both points to make any sense of it.
