Will you eat food imported from china when immigrants are deported?

Without a deal to provide a steady flow of willing immigrant workers, they warn Americans will either have to pay higher prices for food or let production follow the trail of many manufacturing jobs and relocate overseas.

"I'm guessing that people really don't care whether their cotton shirt is made in Sri Lanka or India but when you put it in your mouth, they might start to care," said Paul Muthart, the general manager of Pasquinelli Produce Co. in Yuma, Arizona.

Nothing of that sort will happen.

When will America start producing anything of value again?

Movies and Paris Hilton stories are not enough.

No. People should support local farmers and buy from their local greenmarket to begin with. Most of what we consume currently is essentially petroleum.

If its costs an extra nickel for a head of lettuce I'm not gonna worry too much about it.

But I do not want to eat food from China, they have a terrible quality record. I would like to see country of origin food labeling become mandatory.

it's not going to be an extra nickel. It's going to be like 150% more for a loaf of bread.

Immigrants won't be deported. Only the ILLEGALS. Could it be that pro illegals want to take advantage of slave labor?
I don't mind paying ten cents more a pound for produce for a secure border.

Problem? Well some of us that are against illegal immigration and rewarding criminal actions are WILLING to pay the higher prices for their food.

All I want is everyone to follow the rules. Why are we in a tissy about this, when there are men and women in prisons all over this nation for selling drugs to feed their families? Are we letting them out next? I doubt that you are so quick to forgive their criminal tresspasses due to poverty. And to me, that is more wrong than making people follow our laws or get the hell out of our country.

Nope, don't matter to me where the food comes from, I'll pay double for it. Get those illegals out!
