How can an import business be started into india from china?

i m an indian housewife,never done any business or job before,but now i want to do some work in imports.Is it easy to set up a business in imports?Can anyone guide about all the aspects and procedures involved?Any genuine help ll be appreciated.

1. What kind of products are you familiar with ? how about your sales capability ?
2. if no products background, what's your advantage ? what's your budget?

Generally, you need to know or decide what kind of products to start from? the cost ?import duty and tarriff? the risks vs profit...

if you are looking at big quantity, you have to put up a trading company in your country (India), and secure a permit to import. Then contact a supplier from China of the product of your interest.
