Anybody just see Mitt on Chris Wallace talking about he's the only candidate that knows how the economy?

really works since he's the only one who's ever tried to grow jobs in the private sector (and very successfully)?? He made a lot of sense...he said when he negotiates with china or india on trade he understands what the impacts are to jobs in america. I think he has a damn good point...what the hell do obama or clinton know about the economy or business in america?

I like McCain also but his lack of business acumen concerns me too...still tryin to make up my mind here in florida...

Mitt has the closest idealology that I can agree with on that side of the political spectrum. Hes a proven business man, and a decent human being.
I think he will be President.
So far, he is beating them all in the delegate count.
Despite all the mudslinging, I think he will be the man.

Find out more about how Romney liquidated companies and what happened to all those employees and how many companies he's helped set up off shore offices to avoid paying taxes, and just how he was able to amass such a fortune that he can afford to buy the presidency. He claims it was all done legally and maybe so, but it certainly was not done ethically for the good of our country and its citizens, he's a wolf in sheeps clothing and he's very dangerous.

Romney knows the most about economy. Every candidate has his/her pros and cons.

Yea I saw that too- he talked about that during his interview with Glenn Beck last week too. Compare his business and Gov't experience with that of Clinton or Obama- neither of which has EVER run a business, a town, a city or a state. Hmm... thats pretty scary when you think about handing them the keys to the largest economy the world has ever seen.

To answer your question;

No I did not see Mitt on Chris Wallace's show, But Mitt does know what he is talking about when to comes to business. His fortune was built by being a successful businessman who saved them from going under. He also has the experience in governing a very liberal state and making it work. I too am impressed by Mitt Romney's experience and would be a good presidential choice for America.

has anyone actually checkedup on Romney's claim that he grew jobs, the man scares me.

The Governmental influence over the economy has nothing in common with Private Sector business dealings.

Romney strikes me as another pro corporation crony that will leave the little guy in a bad way. The Republicans in general always ruin the economy with their pro corporate views.

Small businesses generate over 80% of the employment in the US. Repubs only see mega international corporations and totally ignore the foundation of the US economy. Why? Because small businesses cannot afford million dollar lobyists.

I do not know who I am voting for in the primary yet but he impressed me by being about the only person in national politics who had the guts to say that the corporate income tax must be cut if we are going to invigorate the economy and foster job creation. The corporate tax rate is 35% plus state taxes- the estimated combined corp tax rate is 40% which is higher than just about every other country. Most industrialized countries have been reducing their rate for a decade but not the US.
The notion that corporations are getting over is emotion driven rhetoric NOT fact. Corps are not fleeing the US because they are getting over- if we want them to stay and expand, we need to act like it- if not, stop crying that your job just left.

Enron...Pan AM...Tell them Kenny-boy is here.
Please, Romney is an intelligent man, hes telling you what you want to hear, as is the right of every good politician.
Do you think he negotiates with the idea of whats good for America...or whats good for his company? Obamas been in his state for a while but hes new to the national scene, while he seems bright enough, I do feel he lacks experience.
Clinton was in Washington for two terms as a senator, she has considerable experience working with and holding office in many corporate boards before Bill was a president.
Bush was also a businessman, even used the same line, about making a payroll. Problem was he was a startlingly unsuccessful businessman, bailed out at every turn by his daddies friends. Presidents don't actually go out and do their own negotiating, and this is one case where that kind of experience would be useless, presidents set policy, and work with Congress to bring those policies to law. For that you need to know who and how and where to apply pressure. For that reason Hillary would be the better choice when it comes to experience.

I just watched the movie Departed. I kept think Mitt was Governor of this.
