Why is there so much negativity surrounding the issues of imported products and outsourcing? |
Americans have come to be lazy, expecting a decent income and a nice house to live in. Parts of the economy get outsourced and they complain of foreigners 'stealing' American jobs. Now answer me, who deserves the job more? Americans with all their wealth and laziness or people in countries such as China and India who work long hours for a humble income and lifestyle? It isn't just about who deserves the jobs. Americans (speaking strictly in generalities) think that their way of life is best and that the rest of the world should be like them. If it were so, then the other countries will be more worried about individualism the same way Americans are and then the job markets would shift and more Americans would hold those jobs as the overseas employees would want the same pay and benefits. It is all about ethnocentrism, my friend. |
