What type of jobs would one do after teaching english abroad in say Japan, Korea or France? Teach English in the States. You could also find a job as an interpreter if you can speak other languages. My mother is a nurse and frequently has to call on highly paid interpreters when she makes a home visit. join foriegn office or stae deparment or maybe even the CIA Are you planning on returning to America or globe-hopping some more? If abroad, and you are getting bored with teaching, you may want to try being a governess somewhere in Great Britain or in a household where English is spoken. It's a great way to learn more about a localized area. If coming back to America, you know that there's plenty that you can do. The English language needs to be taught in America if anywhere. Good Gawd. Have you noticed that everything is misspelled these days, even newspaper headlines? Maybe you are the person to start a crusade against this "acceptable illiteracy". Just me. |
