Job, Girlfriend or one (1) traveling abroad?

I have a quagmire. In one (1) year I will be totally debt free. Ever since I backpacked Europe last year for two (2) months I made a pact with myself to return. Well in one (1) year I have a decision to make. If I go abroad and travel for (1) year I will be giving up my full-time job and girlfriend of (7 years).

My gf is ready to settle down but I would like to do some traveling before that. I left a piece of my heart in Europe but I will lose a piece if my gf leaves me. What should I do friends??

Tell her what you just said and if she can't understand where you are coming from then she is not for you.

if you want to settle down with her take her with you, show her what you fell in love with over there and maybe if you really want to and all goes well, at the end of your trip propose to her in a romantic spot.
she can't/won't go with you? do you have to be gone for a year? you do have an impressive prob. travel Europe, or stay in the States with the woman you love (you love her right?). no one can make this decision for you. whatever you choose, you have to be able to live with the outcome. i would hope you could find a compromise between the two. Do you love Europe for its scenery, culture, etc., or did you find another special someone there also? i'm afraid i raised too many questions, and i can't answer the one you asked. think it over carefully, bacause it souds like a life -altering choice. good luck.
