I am an asbestos removal operative, how do i get a job on an oil rig or abroad? Can't seem to find any info. |
I have tried the obvious options i.e. job sites like fish4.co.uk and jobcentreplus.co.uk, but can't find any help to get me either abroad or on an oil rig to do this work. I'm trying to find a job that pays more money. Well rigs are hard. Don't think they would need asbestos opps but you would need helicopter safety sea survival and fire fighting for a start. they wont even look at you if you don't. Check out bp and shell. Go to: http://www.oesc.state.ok.us/ . On the right side, click on oil field jobs$$$. Everything you need will be right there. 1-800 numbers to call, search the jobs, etc. Good luck, friends say the starting salary is $18 + an hour.
