Toefel exams are for testing how good you are in english and for many countries this exam is necessary if you want to go abroad,as the foreign country will give consideration to your admission based on your TOEFEL marks.

You will have to find out first from where do they take registrations in your city. This varies from country to country. Then you will have to register for the exam, which will have a fees that you will need to pay.

In order to prepare for the exam there are many books available that help you do so. You will have to buy the books and study then on your own.

yes you can take TOEFL exam in some centers for English and before you take the exam search for samples for TOEFL exam that will help you to know about the exam .. You don't need any courses maybe if you want to . The TOEFL is divided of 3 sections Listening, Grammar and reading last thing. It is for improving English skills. And for the procedure maybe they will ask for your ID.. I toke the TOEFL exam and I brings with me a passport and ID of my college that's all .
