I am an incubent who was deceived of 1 lac rupee by a friend? what r the steps that could be taken legally? |
i was promised of a job abroad(permanent, 2yrs) by a close friend working abroad. then i got a job temporary saying i would be made permanent. i worked their, for 6 months. i was paid by the company. but, the money worth Rs.85,000 was handled by the friend working their, for procurement of visa and work permit. but all was done by the company's behalf, since he was holding a post. then by the turn of events as he cheated the company by trying to sell the company's software illegally. immediately he was deported. since, i was recommended by him, i too was terminated. i came to India. Now, if i ask about the money, the friend says the travel agent has taken the money and disappeared.this happened 4 years back. then again algined with him through another friend. taking positively what had happened is just about money. but, things turn worse.And i underwent abuse by him and his associates. What are the steps taken with this regard legally? someday the money would come?! but the abuse?Ans. Unfortunately for you this problem is very complex. First of all you could have fought your dismissal from work. Someone else's dishonesty is not a just cause for you being fired. As for your "friend", I wouldn't believe anything he told me. He has already demonstrated that he can't be trusted. I would sue him. Okily Dokily. uhh... sorry i cant help. this question honesly just confused me more than anything. Good luck though. |
