i was in the same boat. Give it time. Try something different than what you're use to doing. Who knows maybe you will like it and excel in it!

It's easy to sympathise than to empathise. I can ask you to "take it cool", but if that could really be possible, you wouldnt have posted this question here. so the answer is: firstly, find out why things didnt go well? don't blame it on your "luck". thats totally uncalled for... other than this, since you had a well settled job, i assume you were "good" at what you did. if thats the case, then you can find jobs aplenty.. and probably you'll land up with a better job. THINK WHAT WENT WRONG and HOW YOU'LL AVERT IT IN FUTURE. jobs come and go. don't cry over spilled beans.

If its the job that does not make you happy ,then talk to your company and tell them what you would rather do.If it is personal, then give it some time . As time passes ,things become better and you become normal.Every human being is equipped with "adjustment ".Just give it some time.
In the mean time try calling back home often. Relax . Make friends etc.

This is normal thing that happens to best of the people "grass is always greener on the other side of the bank".

You have choice to go back to your old job, if possible.

Or

Tuft it out. In time you will get use to the new atmosphere.

First dont take any major decision without suarity. Now you forget the this happened and start to find new opportunity if you have experience then there are many opportunity awaiting for you.& remember anything happens only for your bright future so dont think about past think only to regain your Happiness
