Baby sitting service abroad, how safe do you think it is....?

a few years ago I lived in Puerto Pollensa in Majorca, one of my jobs was to turn up at a complex and pick up a load of keys to small chalets. In these chalets were children of all ages from tiny babies upto 12 years old. (the camp catered for French holiday makers). By the time I had arrived, the parents had gone of on the medievil excursion, they never laid eyes on me.

My job was to walk around and around checking on the children. I was 21, and believe me they did not check me out in anyway. Lucky enough I looked after these kids well but I couldnt be at every chalet all of the time. I only realised the implications of what these parents did once i was a parent myself.

When I had my son and went abroad and this kind of service was offered, I refused as I knew the likelyhood that these babysitters were not fully checked out. I always took my son with me. These parents were lulled into a false sense of security, they were just lucky it was me checking on their kids

The reason I cant attack the McCanns is that did they not trust this service and saw the children safely asleep, they could see the apartment, so fire wasnt an issue, and at least unchecked strangers were not minding their children. Before you say it, no I wouldnt have left my son.

hey lexy, looks like the two biggest creeps on here decided to answer your question..lol

Opps has the cheek to call you lonely and evil...lol is he having a laugh i can feel the sadness and bitterness spilling from his pores.

As for Dave S...Well Dave S is Mr obession... god knows what will happen when the McCann situation is over, hopefully with the little girl being found safe, he will go into a decline.

You rattled their cage didnt you.

I reckon its 1 - 0 to you!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously though its interesting what you have said about the babysitting service abroad.

Keep it up lexy, i like your answers, you are keeping the divs on the run..hehehe

I feel bad for you.... Hope you get well soon. You make me smile. Anyone who does';t agree with your viewpoint is open to attack and abuse - you say evil things - I hope you are nicer to your family otherwise you will be a lonely old lady soon. You have a lot of anger in you - you must be quite an unhappy person, that makes me feel bad for you. You seem to be obsessed with this Sarah's law - I am not sure why. Clearly you aren't comfortable with people who have issues with 'parents' (and I use the term loosely) who use the media to a) create personal income out of tragedy, b) hog all the media attention distratcting the news from other similar cases and other issues and c) people who don't have your limited understanding of the world. Wonder how you feel if your friend suffered a smiliar tragedy (through no fault of their own) and the media didn't give it 1% of the coverage. I think you need to look inside yourself to find the reason why you have so much hate, it is probably because you don't like yourself very much. If you try to be decent person instead maybe this will change. I wish you good luck.

Here is the quote you asked for "im not some sad paedophile like you"

Why would you say such a thing? Clearly you are not very nice.

Im confused. If the McCanns didnt trust the babysitting service like you said, then what are the twins doing all day? Because they certainly arent with their parents.

Oh they are in the very same babysitting service they condemned.

Seems to me they put out the whole 'dont trust strangers to look after our babies' as a smokescreen, because if that was true, why would you then do it AFTER you have just lost one of your children??

You couldnt count on 2 hands the number of discrepencies in the McCanns story.

I would never want it , why choose someone from another country, especially after that nanny incident from england and the baby was killed no thanks, who knows if you'll even get proper or genuine references I don't like nannys period but from foreign countries sounds like a scary movie

I would not send my baby abroad for any money.
