How to work abroad?

hye everyone,
i am a malaysian and very interested to work abroad. i have a master degree in applied linguistics and currently working as a freelance translator.what are the ways and procedures to work overseas, what are the job oppurtunities offered, to whom should i consult and how much is the expenses? Thanks

Before even thinking of working abroad, I would like to inquire how many years of work experience do you have under your sleeve? Working freelance may not be a good addition to your resume though. Then you must know how to properly "package" yourself in your resume, using international standards. Then and only then can you even think of sending out resumes to prospective employers. I suggest that you start with multinational companies in your country. You may also want to try foreign embassies, UN and affiliate organizations. Go to the cultural section of foreign embassies and research companies from that country who may want to utilize your services. They also have newspapers from their country. Look in the classified ads section. Good luck in your search.**

try contacting firms/company in other countries by e-mail.send them your resume and tell them all your skills and talents. If needed the company might write back.
