Do any SQL programmers want to work abroad? |
I'm working out in Cyprus and everyone I speak to says they'd love the opportunity to work abroad, especially somewhere like here. However, I've been searching for a SQL programmer / DBA for over a year and it seems no-one actually is interested! I advertise on cwjobs and monster and still very little response. Pay is not specified so that's not putting people off. The job spec is very typical of the role so it's not that either. What is it that puts everyone off?! When I used to look for jobs if there was no pay indication I would assume that it was low. Cyprus is the third-largest island in the Mediterranean and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, attracting over 2.4 million tourists per year. |
