Whenever my father or I apply for a job the place never ends up hiring us. How can we get jobs? |
I am 21 and in college and whenever I have applied for a job the place never ended up hiring me, so I really do not have any experience with a paying job. However, when I do an application I do put volunteer experience and have a resume with the same experience on it. Of course I do not have any experience with a paying job because I can't GET any paying job experience unless someone hires me in the first place!! But whenever I fill out an application and turn it in they say they will be in contact with me, and I am unable to drive so I really do not have access to go back to the place just to ask them about the job, so I just call them, and they usually just say if they want to hire me then they will call me. But they do NOT call me!! It is the same story with my father, who is also trying to get a job so the 2 of us can get into a place outside of his mother's house. So how do we get a job if no one ever ends up hiring us when we apply? Hello Mc Donalds Perhaos you can try a employment service like Manpower? Some of those temp jobs work into full time employment It could be that you both interview badly, or are applying for jobs above your level or don't qualify for. If you don't have experience then you are limited to the type of job you can get. It also depends on where you live and what is available. Have you tried Fast food, retail, construction? Good luck..also check with your local employment agency just shake your @ss for some cash! Alot of money, its fun, and you can also be drunk! |
