Will American Samoa companies hire Mainland US citizens for employment at 'regular' jobs?


I am wondering if native Samoans are offended if a mainland US citizen 'takes' one of their jobs. I would appreciate an answer from a native Samoan.

Most "American Samoa" companies are family-owned and operated and so jobs are usually covered in-house. There are always job opportunities within the government (education, hospital, etc.) and the two tuna canneries that are available to qualified individuals who meet immigration requirements.
