How Can Teens And Pre-Teens Get Jobs To Earn Money Because Us Teens Need Money Too? |
Our Parent Are Alway Telling Us Be Responsiable But How Can We If We Can't Make The Money Ourselve And Stop Depending On Our Parents How about bagging grocery's, most grocery stores hire youths. do odd jobs such as babysitting, washing cars, mowing the lawns. there are lot of ways to earn money just use your imagination. my daughter does chores around the house and earns her money that way. but of course i get some of it back to pay for some of her cell phone bill. :) community center imma pre teen n ma mom tryed to get me a job there Usually employers don't hire unless you're at least 16. Most teens are more interested in socializing than in working hard, so they have a harder time finding someone's trust. Parents should pay for the things you want when you get to be an older teen, but you should understand the value of a dollar first. Don't be afraid to ask your parents why they won't just buy you what you want or need, see if you can't do some extra work around the house to earn money when you want to spend it on things you see fit. Modified 1 year ago When I was younger I used to babysit, rake leaves, clean houses, wash cars, pick up dog poo, etc. I had an aunt I babysat for and she recomended me to a friend of hers that friend hated to wahs dishes so she would pay me $10 extra to wash her dishes, $20-$30 extra if I cleaned the whole kitchen (including the floor.) My grandma's next door neighbor had 2 dogs and would pay me & my sister $10-$20 each if we would pick up "dog bombs" once or twice a month. There were lots of older people in my grandma's neighborhood who would pay my sister and/or me to do little tasks for them like mopping their floors or raking leaves or washing their cars or even running to the corner store for them. If you can fog a mirror you can clean a house, you only have to be honest and do a very good job. Also, only deal with people that you know such as neighbors, realives or people that your parents or reltives know from work, etc. Never, ever go into the home of a stranger. |
