When are the new college grad age kids going to realize that the US job market is a wasteland?

that the multicultural, diversity, equal rights for everyone propaganda has all been a lineof bs to help facilitate the exodus of real jobs from America to lower wage countries.Global Wage Arbitrage.and the future in here is bleek..will many years of hardship and anger finally open the eyes of the people...?. will the recession we didn't let happen in 2002, finally catch up to us , leading to a deeper longer recession in 2007-2008 ? is this what we need to happen to get the country's attitude to its people, not just the rich elite, more in balance with common sense and true equality, not the hollow equality our country's rhetoric speaks to....

my firm outsources almost all of our skilled colleg degree type labor because they will work for half of the cost to hire American..and the US government has been helping us to promote this...

You mean the kids don't know? They will realize about the time they apply for 50 jobs and end up working at a fast food restaurant for minimum wage because there are no other jobs available. Good luck paying off college loans on that wage!
It really depends on your degree. The medical field is hurting for RRT's, RN's, PA's, & NP's. ALL good money & job security.

Note to ZANA....Sorry I hit the wrong button... I was trying to give you a thumbs up on your answer. SORRY.
Healthcare worker
it's the same everywhere, trust me.
been to Australia, China and Hong Kong
I'm sorry that you have become so sour. For sure finding meaningful work is difficult, but not impossible. You blame the problem on the idea that everyone should have an equal right to work - come on...you don't really believe that do you?

I think it is more that our system allows students to go from Kindergarten through college without gaining job skills or a decent work ethic. Students who gain this knowledge on their own manage to get ahead just fine. Students - the majority - who expect that just getting a degree will automatically get them a great job with a fat paycheck end up disappointed.

It's wrong that our system does not provide kids with relevant practical experiences, but it is also bad that so few students put out the effort. Why do 22 year-olds think they deserve a $40K per year job based on their experiences as a Pizza Hut waiter?
Your children will be fine if they get a Master Degree and if they learn to speak french, portuguese or spanish fluenlty.
