Are the us citizens the ones that feel threatened or are the us authorities the ones that feel treathened?

Mexican migrants have the jobs us citizens don't want to do, so why the us don't want them there if they are making grow the country. Are the us citizens or are the us authorities the ones that feel threatened?

There are over 200 million US citizens, so you probably have more than one opinion! I as one US citizen don't feel threatened by Mexican immigration. The system we currently have is broken. I believe the law should not be broken and employers should be fined if they hire illegals. At the same time, why not let Mexicans come legally to the US, give them Social Security numbers and keep everybody paying into the social programs. Many illegals are paid cash, which means there is less money going to pay for the soon to retire baby boomers. Mexico has a young population, but the US has a aging population. The US needs more Mexican immigration. If people come to work, fine. I wouldn't want people to come and to demand social programs and services in Spanish.
They are using social programs but not paying taxes. In other words, they are stealing money out of my pocket.
I think it is the us citizens who feel threatened. They probably feel like the mights are taking jobs from the us citizens, but they are really not. They are just hungry for a job and to work. A job is a job to me, not matter what you do. You are employed and making money. You may not get rich and may struggle, but atleast your bills are getting paid.
I myself would say that the authorities feel more threatened than we do. WHY? Because if something goes wrong this shows us that the ones we put there to do the job cannot do the job. That is what it looks like to me is wrong with this whole world. The authorities are more worried about thier standings with us and do not do the job we give them to do.
i strongly disagree. it's not that americans don't want certain jobs. it's the fact that mexicans steal them by acceting lower pay.

1. mexicans accept lower pay so employers can cut a better deal for their businesses and just won't hire americans who demand bigger pay
2. actually MANY americans would take jobs that mexicans do if they were paid decently (i'm not even talking high just enough to make the living)

therefor I DO feel threatened
The reason many Americans will not take some of those jobs is they would rather sit at home and collect welfare, and are allowed to do so. So they system has to be fixed at that point first. Doing that would be simple, when someone walks into the welfare office, have a list of available jobs and send them to a job. If they still refuse to work, then refuse them welfare.
I don't feel threatened, but am sick and tired of the BS about U.S. citizens not wanting jobs immigrants perform. Why don't immigrants make their own countries a better place to live?
