Can a diabetic person go to the US for job? |
I am from India. I am diabetic, can I get a job in the US. Is there any limitations or rules. I work on the computer No, there are no limitations due to a condition such as diabetes. In fact, prospective employers in the US are prohibited from asking you in advance about health issues like this (provided it does not prevent you from doing the actual job you are applying for), and you will be protected legally as far as any special considerations you need for the diabetes (like taking a break to have juice, test your blood, etc). You should state that you have diabetes when you fill out forms when you start your job (at the time the job has been offered and accepted) and tell your employer what your needs are as far as taking care of your health. Good luck and take care of yourself! The American diet can aggravate diabetes, so don't embrace the fast food, high-calorie lifestyle! No my friend is diabetic and he can hold any job, exept being in the army. dont think so - anti discrimination laws et etc There's no restriction for diabetics, if anything you will probably get a better chance due to the equal rights ethic (regulation). Hope this helps... NO limitations. BUT you do need to watch your condition or u wont have a job any where. it depends on you satisfying the visa counsellors. http://www.diabetics.blogspot.com... of course not you can work wherever you want |
