In general, visas are more readily granted for people in fields that are not already over-crowded with Americans. Since so many software engineers are already unemployed in America (I live near Silicon Valley and am currently unemployed. I see who is in the unemployment office looking panic-stricken.), I doubt this is a good time to pursue your ambition. Try developing something on the internet where you are, and then making contact with your best customers or your business associates. If they believe you have a unique skill, they will sponsor you. |
