Well, find out where the Unemployment office is and go there...you can start there. You can also look in the newspaper, on on line on craiglists or you can go around downtown looking for "Help Wanted" posters...Good luck

First, tell everyone you know that you are looking for work. The best jobs come through friends and family. Second, look in the local classifieds section of your newspaper. Also search Craigslist.com. You can also contact a job agency.
Try the daily ads in the your local newspaper and also try monster.com it'll give you a great starting point. If all else fails, try a temp agency.
If you have authorization to work in the US, you can go anywhere. If you need an employer to sponsor an H1B visa you'll have to wait until April 2008. Our professional visas were exhausted in one day.
There are many government agencies that are really good at helping anyone find a job.

22 years ago I went to EDD in claifornia I was 19 years old and I got a Job in Envitonmental making $26.46 an hour that was in 1985!!!! And I had no experience and no high school diploma!!!

One question is what kind of job do you want?

I can tell you a great Job is in Construction management or inspection or environmental inspections,. In these fields there is 10 Jobs for every 7 people who are in the industry. Some of the Jobs require you to pass a written exam or take a 5 day class but the money is great and there is a ton of Jobs. I don't ever have to look for a Job They normally call me. I get about 5 calls a year and it increases eevry year from employeees who see my name on government web sites that list names of those who have taken the classes.
