Political parties aside: what steps are necessary to ensure healthcare, jobs & national security in the US?

no one is answering the steps needed to ensure the welfare of our citizenry as far as healthcare and jobs are concerned. I didn't say it had to be related to politics, but it could be.

It is not the job of the government to ensure health care or jobs. National Security, yes. Give the Military whatever they need to keep us safe. Allow the CIA and FBI to talk to each other about possible domestic and foreign threats to our country.

We've already got the best. Keep on doing what we're doing, I guess.

You do realize that of those three only one is Constitutionally the Federal Govts. responsibility. That of course is national security

Insure that the average person pays more and more so as to increase the profits of the medical, pharma and insurance industries. Continue the trend to outsourcing and keep attacking countries that have little or nothing to do with terrorism.

Well, that's what Bushco is doing, and they must know what they're doing, right?
