With a qualification of Indian Chartered Accountancy what jobs can I apply for in US?

For those job categories, how should prepare for the interview? What all should I read?

I might be wrong here, but a lot of companies don't recognize foriegn degrees (or experience) at all...

They even had an ad campaign for it - featuring lines such as "Why is this highly trained MD driving a cab?" and "I have a Phd. in Engineering - would you like Fries with that?"

This is especially true when it comes to medical degrees...

You can apply for any job that you want. The USA is full of great opportunity's in any job positions that you desire. Good luck in your job hunt. And for the interview just be yourself and point out good things about yourself.

You will probably have better luck looking for a position within an industry that you are familiar with than with an accounting firm. Unfortunately your Chartered Accountancy certificate is unlikely to be recognized in the US, but a company in a field that interests you won't be requiring the certification but rather they will be looking for someone who has demonstrated they have the knowledge to obtain certification.
