Find a job - how is the situation in US? |
i think about going abroad for findind a job in US (actually i am in France). i ask some question to friend in us but all said different things about the market of employment in your country.... it is really difficult to find a job in USA ? how to find a company wich can help you to come ? thanks for your answers... Depends on where you live, but it's pretty bad here, unless you don't mind working at a low paying job with crappy hours and no benefits. yes I can tell that your french from the black beret and the french accent....no striped shirt though ! It really depends on the location and the job. A bi-lingual person is very marketable, especially in the large cities. There are books called "the job bank" which displays companies and tips on landing a job. Have you thought of Canada? French is a second Languge here. In Quebec Its the first language Call the canadian embassy or go on the internet, WE live in British Columbia L ots of work here.. The Olympics are comming I say it greatly depends on the job and location. Things are not looking real good overall. I say it depends on your level of educations as well. I have learned my college and work experence. You have to do alot on your part to have a successful career these days. Companies don't take of that like they use to decades ago. For instance, retiring and benefits to be prepared get laid off. |
