Is it hard for a foreigner to find a normal job in US?

I'm a Chinese and wish to go to US for working. I graduated from University in China last year. Will it be very hard for me to find a job in US?

Very hard. US government allows lots of foreigners to work but they are not allowed in NORMAL jobs. They are allowed only in special jobs where there are no local people available and not filling those jobs would hurt USA.

Currently IT industry and Nursing are the areas where it is easier to get visas/Jobs.

I had a good friend come over from Germany on a work visa.. and nobody would give her a job... so I hired her.. and when the Visa expired, she was one of the first to get sent back...

If you have a skill in short supply, it should be relatively easy.

First you need to find someone in the US who is willing to sponsor you on a work visa. Then when you get approved for the visa and come here you need to get an immigration attorney to help you file an I-765 for a work permit along with other forms that will have to filed.

YES,unless u have work permit or a good agent to secure job for u.

Depends what skill you have. If you have a degree in engineering or computers, you will find a job with no problem.
