Is it hard for a foreigner to find a normal job in US? |
I'm a Chinese and wish to go to US for working. I graduated from University in China last year. Will it be very hard for me to find a job in US? Very hard. US government allows lots of foreigners to work but they are not allowed in NORMAL jobs. They are allowed only in special jobs where there are no local people available and not filling those jobs would hurt USA. What's your field of specialization/major? Yes, it is... its hard for americans to get jobs in usa.. the foreigners walk in and take over. If you have a skill in short supply, it should be relatively easy. No unless you consider landscaping abnormal. First you need to find someone in the US who is willing to sponsor you on a work visa. Then when you get approved for the visa and come here you need to get an immigration attorney to help you file an I-765 for a work permit along with other forms that will have to filed. Yes. Youll be fighting w/ 32 mill. illegal immigrants, and then 40 million unemployed citizens. Have fun w/ all that. I thought china had a decent work force? Why not stay there? YES,unless u have work permit or a good agent to secure job for u. Depends what skill you have. If you have a degree in engineering or computers, you will find a job with no problem. |
