What are good, payin jobs for a 14-15 yr old? |
I just got a work permit from school today, and my friends and I were planning to work somewhere, but we don't know where. We were all thinking the Safeway with the Jamba Juice and Starbucks but aren't too sure. What do you think will be a good, hiring job for us? Please, don't put down prostitute or baby sitter. Oh, and forget online jobs that you take surveys to get money. it can be really hard to get a job when you are that young. people dont want to hire you because they are forced to obey all kinds of special laws to ensure kids arent being over worked. i had my first job at a deli when i was 14 but my younger sister (now 20) had a really hard time finding a job at 14. she ended up working at a fast food restaurant. paper routes can be good income but you have to wake up very very early. Working at a movie theater is a good job, not too difficult, pays good and youth staff are able to make manager, unlike other jobs. Plus, free movies. Being a waiter/waitress isn't bad because you get tips in addition to wage. Here's a short list of jobs which you can create to generate income: |
