Is it difficult to move from uk to orlando/florida..jobs/visas/medical ins/rental etc? |
my boyfriend and i are in our early twenties, and have decided we would like to move from the uk. we have no children and would like to rent a modern appartment or house for a year or more and both would like to work. we need info on just about every aspect of living there and all the legal jargon etc so any info would reaaly be appreciated! go under www.ask .com and put in info on Orlando Florida.. and it will pop apartments..and all kind of tourist info .. and as for the jobs you can go under ..www.moster job.com.... or www.employment opportunity in Orlando Florida.com and check and see what jobs are available.. my bf cousins lust moved there in June and they seem to love it... it is a tourist city and there is always something to do.. rent however is around $600.00 dollars a month for a one bedroom apt and it goes up depending on where the apt IS have never been out side of the US so i don't know how difficult getting visa or work visa or what Elsa you would need.. just make sure you save enough and when you buy your ticket to come make sure it is a open round trip just in case it don't work out for you...mainly because it is a busy city with lots of people and i don't know what your used to... there are city buses so you would not need a car as soon as you got there ...but if you have never been there it is a good idea to come just for a vacation and see if you like it... but if most people your age do indeed love living there and my bf cousin found a job in less than 3 weeks A work visa is very difficult to get,there is a visa lottery because the demand outstrips supply.Work visas are distributed so a single nation can only recieve 7%.If you are really motivated to live here I would say your best chance is to do it the Mexican way. Arrive as a visitor and outstay your visa,give birth to a child in America which will make it a citizen.You need a social security number to open a bank account and get a job which Mexicans falsify.Recently law enforcement is cracking down on document fraud a tiny amount which has American business absolutely freaking out. Americans do not realize how much work Mexicans do in America because they are racist and do not care to look.It is like men who do not understand the work women do and complain because dinner is late and there is laundry building up. China has more men than women and America wants to start a "guest worker" program to hire them to work here for a year or two then send them back.They will accept much less pay than Mexicans who are rich by Chinese standards.High skilled workers are kept out by visa laws which keep upper class Americans happy. Lower class Americans are racist and want Mexicans to go away so they vote for politicians to get rid of them and bring in ambigious but happy sounding "guest workers".David Beckham got ahead of everybody for a work visa,you and I stuck where we are because we created foul nations for the good of the rich.Americans are like those in the Borat movie, imagine being stuck in the theatre for sixty more years before you decide to move. |
