I'm hoping to move to Kefalonia.Any advice on who to inform in UK, renting property whilst there, jobs etc,etc |
Hoping to sell property in England and take a career break to move to Kefalonia for 12months. Would like any advice on who I need to inform here in the UK ie: Doctor,Dentist,Tax office etc.Is it worth informing these and other offices? Any information on what/who I need to notify greatly appreciated. Also when on Kefalonia do I need to register with the Town Hall or any other office? Bets bet is to contact the Greece Consulate and they will send you the relevant info you require. I did this and was very impressed with the service Source(s): http://www.greekembassy.org.uk/... I dont live in Kefalonia but once you are there its good to ask the local townhall and make sure you provide all papers needed (passport , id etc) Hope it helps a tiny bit ! the best of luck to you. Enjoy! I don't really know who you should inform in the UK. As far as Cephalonia is concerned, if you're planning to be here only on holiday then you don't have to contact anyone. If you're planning to move here for good, buy property and get a job you'll have to contact the Tax Office. Being a UK citizen doesn't require a job permission or anything so things will be rather simple for you. |
