I got job in UK. my English reading and speaking are good but listening is not good enough what can I do?

when I will travel to UK to start work , I don't like to lose my job because of this problem. My university study language in English and my work as purchasing officer using English. Only I am facing difficulties in listening to the fast English speaker.

The only way I can think of for you to understand spoken English better is for you to listen to radio programmes and the TV. You can also buy audio books. If you were to buy the book and the audio book, you could read the story as it was being narrated therefore helping you to recognise words easier. Talk to people as well, that will always help...

No need to worry, I live in UK too but being a foreign national and it just question of time when you will understand most of the accents of the UK. Switch to LBC radio and there you can hear all kind of different accents. :) Nick Ferrari is da best ! :) Regards, Borat from Kazahstan
