The only way usually you can get a work visa is if you already have a job in the Uk. The same works with student visa's. You have to be enrolled in school before you move, otherwise they won't give you one. Are you looking to eventually get your residency? If so and you have a job, usually your company sponsors you.

You cannot go because only if you would be sponsored for a job.
Study is a possibility.
