Does a police caution for common assault effect a foreign national stay in UK?

Hi A friend of mine is studying in UK and recieved a police caution for common assault. Since he is not a british citizen, will this effect his chances for extending his stay if he will get a job in UK. Does he has to declare acaution on the visa form. Any help in this case will be appreciated.

I sincerely hope this affects his/your chances of staying in Britain.
My view is we have enough trouble in our country as it is and any man who 'slaps' his girlfriend should leave immediately.
Violent abusers are not wanted here.
He/you should do the decent thing and leave immediately.
So not only has this person abused a woman, he has abused the hospitality and help offered by our country.
If you are here for a free/ride/education/health care; then the least you could do is respect our laws.

He/you is not wanted in the UK and it will be taken into consideration when he tries for a visa. This information WILL be held on computer.
Get back where you came from. Physical asaults on women may be Okay in your own culture but it is DEFINITELY not acceptable in the UK.

Slapping girls is not accepted behaviour in the UK,. you may be surprised to learn.

I hope that an extended visa would not be granted and I would of like to see You/your friend deported instead of cautioned. Offenders usually repeat the behaviour again and citizens should be protected. We have enough scum of our own in the UK.
I doubt it, though personally I think any foreign national should be deported for any use of violence. We have enough of our people using violence without importing more.
My advice is please tell your friend to go and clear himself since he said the crime he committed his a common assault
When was the caution given to your friend? When will be the visa expired?
