Where do I report job scams in the UK? |
I recently received a job offer to work in the UK, w/o even the benefit of an interview. I would like this practice to stop, and would like to know who is the proper authority in the UK where I can report this. I live in the Philippines and the email address of the person who gave the job offer is from Yahoo in the UK. Thanks! unfortunatly there is practically nothing that can be done. as there is no real police force patrolling the internet, i am sure you get offers from all over the place (i know i do), although we do have dedicated teams pretending to be youngsters in the hope that pedofiles will try and entice them and brainwash them, and if they are in a state which we have extradition laws with, we can deport them and punish them regarding the e-mail you got, welcome to the world of spam, mark it as spam, and ignore thats all you can do sorry tell me okie |
