Uk working holiday maker??? |
Hi, i'am an indian with over 2 years of exp. now i am considering to move to UK. i have few questions to be answered. 1. why is uk considered to be expensive? is it the conversion rate of the currency or even when you are drawing a uk salary it is still expensive? 2. How is the IT job market in uk easily? how about the odd jobs, how hard is to find the odd jobs like the cashier or a salesperson etc ? and which are the major cities with more prospect of getting jobs 3. what is the initial movement expenses that i should be carrying along with me? 4. how hard is to convert the working holiday maker to a work permit visa? 5. what could be an average salary for around 2 years of work exp in IT? Please be kind enough to answer my above questions. Many Thanks, Waseem In regards to your Working Holiday visa question - you will not be able to convert your WHM visa into a work permit when you are in the UK, you will need to go back to India to do this. Also, there are significant changes to the immigration program proposed - these may affect your elgibility for a visa. I am happy to discuss your visa options in more detail if you email me at Jessica.Stooke@Visalogic.net Source(s): www.visalogic.net England is considered expensive because it is expensive. London is one of the world's most expensive cities. You should try to look online for jobs. Once you have an offer, it'll be easier for you to get an offer. You should contact your nearest UK Embassy for inquiries. Once you get your work visa application started, you'll be spending a lot of time there. |
