Have I any rights in UK as a South African? |
Being originally from Zim, I moved to SA and became a citizen of SA. 4+ years ago I married a portugese lady and moved to UK a 2 years ago. Now we got divorced. I have permanent job with a UK company. Would not like to return as there are no jobs in SA or Zim and the political and crime situation there is not good. For how long am I allowed to stay in the UK and work here? As long as you have a work permit ask the queen you have the right to remain silent, you have the right to an attourney, you have the right to not be killed in the street. you need to check with the portugese government to see if you are entitled to citzenship there due to your marriage. if you have portugese citzenship you have free movement within the european union. Leave the UK and come to America...all immigrants are welcome here. There are many empty houses and jobs are plentiful for any person. Hurry... Check out this link as it may help you with your questions. http://www.internationalworkpermits.com/... Please contact one of our nationality specialists in our UK department to who will guide you through the nationality laws and establish whether or not you are eligible for naturalisation as a UK national on (0)207 866 8170 or complete our no obligation free online assessment here. You need to contact the immigration services, but if you're not a EU citizen or have permanent residence, you will need a visa to work. You should know! What does the stamp on your passport say? If you can't go back to Zim or SA for political reasons, that makes you an assylum seeker. |
