How to enter UK or Australia with my family?

I am a 38-year old Indian and would like to live and work in the UK or Australia with my wife and child. How do I go about it? Should I enter the country with a student visa and stay on after finishing the course or should I go through proper migration process. Getting a job in the UK or Australia is tough unless you are already in the country and residing there. Any suggestions??

Going through the proper migration process of course. The problem is though that it's real sad that people are coming over to our countries and taking a lot of our jobs. The unemployment rate is outstanding and the majority of people that do have jobs have migrated here and have not been here that long at all making it harder for the real residence of this country to get a job. I just don't understand why others are coming over and taking over everything why???? :-)
Wife? and children? and you have a female avatar?

I dunno what 2 say.
My vote is for proper migration process. Isn't it difficult to obtain a student visa? Can you get your family to UK or Australia on your Student Visa? If you stay on after finishing the course would you have a legal right to work and live in UK or Australia?
For Australia its easy. Use the skilled visa if your job is on their most wanted list, or use family visa. If yr under 45 they will want u anyhow!
