Are MBA degrees from UK universities recognised in India ? |
I am planning to do MBA from UK University and come back after studies, i would like to know, to what extent MBAs from UK are recognised in India while getting jobs as MBA in UK is a one year course where as in India is two years. yes sure Hmmmm... are you serious? Of course they'll be better than Indian MBAs! I'm not Indian, but this is common sense! Universities in UK and USA are recognized all around the world, just pick a good college. Friends! Those who are interested to go for any higher studies abroad, have to understand the study fields that are recognised in home country with reference to University Curriculum. Especially, those fields in which the expertise is less or expected as a future requirement or under progress, have generally a demand in the home country. By studying the same subject abroad, that one has in the home country will not make much difference, but the only advantage is the Educational Certificate will be issued by an University of Foreign Country. Mostly in the home country itself there may be better curriculum compared to some foreign ones. The ultimate aim after studies is to seek a lucrative job or enter in the family entity to run the business at great success! One has to balance properly before deciding, after spending a huge amount of money, if the education is not flashy as imagined at abroad, it will pinch the heart throughout ones life time as wastage of money and time. When it is Management studies in UK I can suggest: 1. London School of Economics 2. School of Business Management, Scotland 3. Cambridge University 4. Oxford University 5. Lot other individual Institutions have tie up with some heavy weight international business organisations! Hi Seshadri, That sounds a valid point. I'm also thinking of pursuing MBA abroad.
