How i go about signing off Job Seekers Allowance? - UK?

i have been signing on since June last year and not got a job since. I claim Disability aswell as my Job Seekers allowance. They recently sent me on a training course to help people find work but i dont believe these people can help me. I am a Computer Geek and want a job in computers and these people who train us on this course say i wont be able to get a job in computers without Qualifications. So can i just sign off and claim income support and go into further Education?

Yes you can sign off and claim income support and go into further Education, but you have to give notice...I think its a good idea, save the taxpayers, paying for you and you can increase your MRP (Marginal Revenue Product) which means better wages, by going on to further education. Also check out the bursaries and student support at the Uni's or Polytech's, they may want to help! Source(s): Economics Student! - LSE
