I am 11 years old living in the UK, what type of jobs can i do to raise a little pocket money, please help ? ! |
I don't want to do any of the following: bye cheap clothes then sell them for bigger money you can mow lawns and/or pet sit, dosnt have to be dogs, or babysit Get a paper-round. Mm...maybe your parents could give you a small job where they work...you could mow lawns too. Babysit.. or get a paper route (not sure if that's common in the UK). Wipe peoples shoes LOL no really about nothing your 11 enjoy life beg your parents dont work you will have enough time for that later in life. you can babysit and make a lot of money start off slow and do your cousins or brothers or sisters and sure your aunt or uncle will pay a lot for a night out alone. GOOD LUCK! news paper stand ,washing cars, picking weeds clean people room ,sell candy , Maybe agree with your parents that in return for good grades you will get some money. Also you could babysit. Have a garage sale. sorry not till you are 14 yrs. ask your parents for more pocket money. the work towards making money isn't supposed to be fun, but i would try babysitting a younger sibling, or neighbor, or maybe you could mow lawns, or shovel snow Well I don't know if the ages for working are the same as the US and UK, but you could babysit for neighbors, or family. I made my first money sitting for my sis....She has 4 kids. you dont want to work so take up knitting or picking noses maybe extra chores around the house Messenger, delivering grocieries for local elderly (the ones that may trust you). However, I think your best bet would be with gardening and walking dogs...especially when it's cold (could also shovel snow). I'm 11 and I babysit. That's the best way. You get payed a lot and still have a good time with those little, cute kids. :) Why don't you try asking you're parents and relatives to give you jobs around the house. Write a reasonable price list (be negotiable) and if u do a good job it's amazing how much u can earn. I used to do it and my son does now. Are you artistic at all? When I was a little older than you I made badges out of modelling clay (fimo) and sold them at school! It was great because people told me what type of badge they wanted (teddy bear, car, football etc) and I made them to order. Lemonade Stand its a classic money maker. Clean houses for your parents, other relatives or friends. If you can operate a mop, a broom, and clean some dishes its a fast easy way to score some cash. You're a little young to babysit unsupervised, but look into taking a babysitting course anyway. With training and certification you could start babysitting when you are capable enough. If you are crafty or skilled you can charge for knitting scarves, creating digital photo albums, editing home movies, balancing people's budgets, and a pleathura of other things. Play to your strengths. I paid a kid 20 bucks a lesson to teach my man how to ice skate. I think you will find out later in life that nothing is free, hope you learn it sooner than later. How about collecting old cell phones & getting money for them? |
