Jobs to do with psychology in the UK?

I am planning on studying psychology at university next year. I was wondering what kinds of jobs I could get involving my psychology degree, and what kind of pay to expect.

Also, if i study psychology alongside HR management as a join honours degree, will that affect the jobs that I can have in the field of psychology?

Would I have more earning potential if I studied psychology alongside human resource management?

Jobs directly linked to pscyhology are few and far between. Thye will probably require post-graduate study and require excellent A'level and degree (it must be recognised by the British Psychological Society) grades.

There are many different jobs that will utilise the skills gained on a psychology degree. The vast majority of psychology graduates do not enter a career in psychology. You could try accessing www.prospects.ac.uk - click on the 'careers' section and then look for 'What Do Graduates Do?' - gives info on job destinations for various degree subjects - not sure if Psychology is one of them, but 'social sciences' generally would give you a good idea.

If you complete this course then you stand a better chance in the Police, HR, Personnel, Defense, etc. It depends upon which module you take and at what levels.
