How do an Indian ex marine engineer get job in UK or USA on shore?


This question was asked by one of my friend who is 47+ and wanna quit the marine job. He has a vast 13 yrs experience in Merchant Navy. And would like to work abroad in USA or UK if suitably salaried. Can ne 1 help him?
