If workplace ageism is illegal in the UK, why do job adverts still mention "young"? |
Even though ageism has been illegal in the UK since last October, why is it that I still see job adverts which say things like "we have a young and vibrant team" or "we are a young and fast growing company"? Don't you think this could put older people off from applying for the job? That's simply commenting on the current staff so doesn't count as being ageist It will put off older people. Who wants to work with the 'Young'? yes |
