What does "an academic result of 2.1" or above mean in UK? |
I was applying for a job in UK and it was written in their website that they seek candidates who have an academic result of 2.1 or above. I tried google seraching but didnt find anything. Please help me if you know about it. British system undergraduate degrees are awarded as follows, from best to worst: a 2:1 is also called an upper second class honours and it is the second highest grade that you can get in the UK and Ireland. Generally along the "b" line! |
