How old to get a job in uk? |
how old do u have to be to get a saturday job in england? im 14. DONT SAY A PAPER ROUND OR BABYSITTING. i dont want to do either of them. just like helping in a hair dressers or something. You need to have a national insurance number and you get that when you're 16. see if your parents can find something through their network of friends you can work from about 14 i believe, although its limited hours - weekends only and it'll be cack money and all the worst jobs. its good that you want to work, so pop round a few places and just ask if they got any jobs going probebly around 15,16 to get a job im 11 and i work i was waitressing in a pub at the age of 14, there's only a certain amount of hours your supposed to do though, i'm not too sure what they are as i did well over the amount your allowed (nobody checked) but i know you can work in a hairdressers or anywhere you like, obviously atthe age of 14 you won't have to have a national insurance number or anything to work. You should be 16 before being employeed. You have to be 13 to get a part time job. But until you are 16 and eligible to leave school, you are restricted to the number of hours you can do each week, the days you can do them and between what times. |
