Can i get a good job in uk?

I have done economics joint honours with 59% and masters in economics with 62% by an Indian University.

If you didn't attend school in there, it is more difficult to find a good job in UK. What school one had attended and who you know are still very important factors in job searching.

If you have access to the resources of a school, you definitely want to utilise them. Attend cocktail gathering, speakers meetings etc. If not, you may consider joining one. There are many programs that are designed for those who already have MS, and generally attended by people who are already in the work force.

Some of schools to look into - London school of Economics, London Business School, Oxford, Manchester.

Jobs for economists do not get published online or in newspaper which make your job searching more difficult. You really have to rely on your personal and professional network.

Employment has become a lottery in the UK now, jobs in all sectors are getting difficult to obtain. I can only suggest that you write to UK companies enclosing a copy of your CV, that's the only way. Don't be surprised if 90% don't even bother to reply, that has become the norm now. Aim at writing 10 per week, it really is that difficult.
